Farewell kitty

On Saturday, Oliver died. We went out looking for him late that night and found him by the side of the road, dead. We think he got struck by a careless driver. My dad is going to make me a montage of Oliver. I'll post that picture when its finished. I hung his collar up on a nail in my room.I may like another cat, I may love another cat, but there will be another cat like Oliver.

My poem

Today I wrote this poem :
  Poetry is always changing.
Poetry brings both light and joy
  With darkness and hate.
Poetry can be an itch in the heart,
To a pain in the brain.
  Poetry enlightens, brings good joy,
  And misery, dispair.
  Poetry is an ever-changing mystery.
If you like this poem, plz post a comment to say so.

Exiting things!

Sooooooooo many cool things happened this weekend! I mad dinner on friday, a pizza! It had three meats and two kinds of cheese!

On saturday we went to the reptile sho
w and I held five different types of snakes, including a boa constrictor( it had quite the grip!) and the corn sake shown here, as well as a jumpy little lizard!

On sunday, we traveled
into a time, a long, long, time ago, in a galaxy far away, and saw storm troopers and R2-D2! Well, that pretty much wraps things up until thursday...

Almost Complete!

In this picture I am standing in front of my bat house. We have finished the assembly, but we still need to paint it. It will be painted in this colour. I picked it myself. It was natural but pretty. for something more like my room, I would have gone for this, this, this, or this. All those colours would probably scare the bats away!!:-o :-( :-p.

In this picture I am showing where the bat goes in (blue glove) and just how big that opening is (stripy hand). How they get in there, I don't know but apparently they do and are quite comfortable there.

Building The Bat-House

As I said in my last post, my dad and I are making a bat-house in this picture. It's about 5 inches tall, 7 across, and a centimeter thick( how they get in there, I don't know). well, that's about all I have to say. Can't wait for my next post!

My First Homeschooling Day with Dad

Today my mom went to Paducah, and I am starting my homeschooling days with dad(oh no!). That was a joke, it's actually going pretty well.blogging is my favorite subject along with woodworking, where we are making a bat house, so we will have fewer insects in the summer. Well, gotta go, bye!
